PurposeCitizens of Soulford seek comfort for their miserable lives and protection from the evils that walk the streets by night. Some travellers take pilgramages to the temple to see the relics, especially dias, hoping to receive insights for their life paths.
AccessibilityWorshippers of all faiths are welcome, but only the top leadership of priests are allowed in the private areas of the temple, especially from the restricted library. These are only open to those who have successfully gone on a purification quest to retrieve a relic from the waste places of the world.
FactionThe Genus Orderoversees the temple. They send followers on quests to retrieve artifacts of an ancient civilization whose remnants exist underground and in ruins scattered around Asterland.

The Crystal Dias of the SeerThis is a platform from which the clerics preach their sermons. Many claim that those standing on the dias receive divine revelation and inspiration. Blessings are given atop this dias which often include prophetic counsel and sometimes revelations received as visions.

Geyon. When the building was complete, he was donated to the Temple of the Sacred Harvest to defend it against the undead fey incursions that plague the town of
Soulford.
Challenges:The treasures of the temple that can be moved are secured each night in a vault located deep beneath the temple. It is guarded by Smashey the Stone Golem Guardian and two guards of the Temple Watch. The vault requires a passphrase and a key to open, which is only known by Freida Carienne and Vialdro Kreeth.

Physical Description
SizeLarge: The temple plot takes up an entire city block, including the graveyard surrounding all but the river side. The building itself has a footprint of 200 feet by 150 feet. Its central spire steeple reaches 150 fee tall.
Architectural StyleGothic
DecorationA belltower is located at the top of the central spire. It chimes the hour and can be run to sound the alarm in case of attack. Most of the residents of Soulford are devout members of the church, and if they hear alarm bells, they will rush to defend the temple.

SecretsThe Genus OrderThe temple is devoted to The Genus Order, which is focused on the bettering of the human race on a biological level. Only the temple's leadership knows about the experiments performed on members of the church, which consist of administering potions which alter the body in "Higher Sacrament" rituals. Most of these imbue one with beneficial upgrades such as increased strength or intelligence. The riskier experiments are only performed on those the order deems to be unredeemable heretics.
