The Seekers of Knowledge, the last real barrier to open sale and development of technology, became the target of the magipunks. These men and women of little moral conviction determined that the Seekers would simply have to go. Much funding went to the hiring of sellswords and assassins to root out the seekers and put them to death, armed with the technology provided by the punks. The few remaining seekers retreated into their places of concealment in the mountains around Drachesand, former missle bases from the times before the Great War, when missles and spelljammers released their deadly forces upon the nations of the elves and men of yesteryear.
