elemental is a spirit from the quasi-elemental plane of ice imprisoned
in the prime material plane. Usually they occupy snow or ice available
in the area and shape their way into the form of tall statue of ice
that vaguely resembles a troll with sharp claws. being purely of ice,
they are immune to ice although they take double damage from fire-based
attacks. Combat: Ice elementals mainly attacks via his claws but can
also attack with a fierce clone of cold that does (hd)d4+(hd). thus
a 8hd would do 8d4+8 damage while a 16hd one would do a monsterous
16d4+16 points of damage. It can do this once every 3 rounds. additional
notes: Ice elementals require at least 1\2 the hd of the elemental
times 100 pounds of ice. While its possible to summon one in a temperate
area, they are best suited for artic areas. In fact at are of -50 temperature
and a large supply of snow, the elemental regenerates 3 hp a round. They can
easily be summoned in areas with a large amount of snow such as a tundra
or in many northern areas during winter. If summoned in areas above
freezing, they lose one hp a round until they totally melt or more
depending on how hot it is (-2\round at 70, -3\round at 90, ect. every
20 degrees add another point lost per round to melting.) |
