The kingdom of Trannor is one of the few remaining
feudal empires on this continent. It is a rare collection of barons and
lords and their castles. The need for the feudal system is made necessary
by the frequent troll raids that pour from the mountains. The serfs flee
to their lords for protection, for which the lords and barons exact a tax.
